Yesterday two Team NEO athletes competed at the Your Cause Sports Boulder Sunset Triathlon.
Chris Hendren was participating in her very first triathlon and did the sprint distance race. What a day for firsts for her as well. First out of the water in her wave and first place in her age group!
Kelly Ping had a great day out there as well placing second in her age group in the Olympic distance race. While her ultimate goal is Ironman Arizona this year, she stepped in a couple “late season” (for Colorado) races. She did the Olympic distance race as a training race before she tapers down for the Harvest Moon Half Ironman next weekend.
