Food Log #3

Final day to log my food/fluid intake was yesterday, Wednesday, March 3rd.
And here it was:
4:45am I’m up and I drink about 10oz of water between waking and hitting the pool.

5:40 on my way to the pool I eat a banana and 1T of creamy natural peanut butter.
6:00am At the pool I fill my water bottle and consume ~20oz water during my 80min swim (moderate intensity).
7:45am – After the swim on my way to work I consume the smoothie that I made before I left home made with:

1c fat free plain yogurt, 1/2c silk soy milk (plain w/DHA), 1/2 scoop whey protein (chocolate), 1T dark cocoa powder, 1 1/3c. frozen mixed berries (blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry), and 1 1/2T peanut butter.

after blending, about 20oz of smoothie yum.
8:30am at work now – I fill my water bottle.
9am – back with the morning coffee – 12oz of regular brew – black.
10:45am – morning snack of some nuts (raw, unsalted pecans, walnuts and almonds):
11:10 made it upstairs to grab my red pear. Also fill my water bottle again.
12:35 lunch time – 3oz (approx) baked salmon with cajon seasoning, 1 1/3c. (approx) brown rice with pepper strips (probably ~1/8c.) didn’t eat the clementines until later. also had the raw veggies shown below (carrots, broccoli, cucumber slice, celery, and some small pickles.
Went to a 1pm meeting. Afterwards at 2:00pm I couldn’t resist the chocolate dish (yeah, a weakness of mine)3 hershey minature special darks. couldn’t even wait to eat one before I took the pic!
2:30pm- I filled my water bottle again and headed out for a run. Ran for 60min, mostly moderately easy, but with 5 sets of 2min very hard, so I’d give the whole workout a moderate ranking. Drank about 18oz of water during the run.
4:00pm -I refill my water bottle. I’m also back at my desk and eat those two clementines. Also eat some more veggies, same as before but some olives included. Ate all but a few of the carrots and a couple celery pieces:
4:45pm – a tad hungry and it’s not quite time to leave so I have a few nuts – mostly raw unsalted almonds (there were a couple walnut pieces in there):
5:30pm – I fill my water bottle again. Same water bottle I’ve been using the whole time. I also grab a hershey extra creamy milk chocolate with toffee and almonds piece. Just one (really). 🙂
5:50pm – I stop at Panera Bread for a sandwich before I coach a swim practice. I get the Sierra Turkey. There is also a pickle spear with it (not shown).
8:30pm – fill my water bottle one more time and drank about 10oz before bed.
9:30pm – 10oz of silk soy milk (plain, DHA)

  1. Well, you eat oranges and all your veggies now. I suppose that's a good thing! Iain has shakes for breakfast now, too. And a 3-egg scramble once or twice.
